Bryan Waters joined Pacific National Bank in September of 2006 and currently serves as its President and Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Waters brings over 18 years experience in the financial services industry. As Regional President of Wells Fargo, Nevada, Mr. Waters had complete P&L and asset management responsibilities for all retail banking and business banking businesses within the $3 Billion Southern Nevada banking network comprising over 70 branches and 1000 team members. Mr. Waters spent 13 years with Wells Fargo Bank starting as Personal Banking Officer and working his way up to Branch Manager, District Manager, Division Manager and ultimately Regional President.
Mr. Waters left Wells Fargo Bank in 2000 to become Chief Financial Officer of Camco, Inc., a forty-seven store specialty finance lender with both brick-and-mortar and internet retailing operations. Mr. Waters became President and Chief Operating Officer of Camco, Inc. in July 2003.
Immediately prior to joining Pacific National Bank, Mr. Waters was President and CEO of ztradingindustries, LLC, a technology spin off from Camco, Inc. where he was responsible for overall strategic direction, capital raising activities, new business development and day to day operations.
Mr. Waters earned his BA, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from UCLA.
Richard Caldwell is Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer for Pacific National Bank, bringing over 17 years of commercial banking and real estate finance experience primarily in the Bay Area.
Mr. Caldwell’s prior experience includes 11 years in commercial real estate finance, where he was a principal and team member of several companies that grew out of Pacific Union Realty Finance to form Buchanan Street Partners, a regional mortgage bank and fund manager. At the firm, Richard became a senior originator and was involved in raising offshore equity for the first discretionary investment funds managed by Buchanan.
Prior to entering the commercial real estate business, Mr. Caldwell was at BankAmerica Corporation beginning as an analyst for the holding company and completing with an assignment in Munich, Germany where he was Corporate Account Officer.
Mr. Caldwell has a working knowledge of German and French and graduated with a bachelors of arts from University of Oregon, with a subsequent Masters degree from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird). He is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks, as well as local non-profit organizations.
Patricia Theophilos is Executive Vice President-Chief Credit Officer for Pacific National Bank.
Ms. Theophilos’ experience, spanning over 20 years in banking and real estate, includes real estate lending, structuring complex transactions, commercial development, property turnarounds and marketing. She is a principal in Lakeview Ventures, an investment and development firm most recently developing residential projects in San Francisco, including Symphony Towers on Van Ness Avenue, and was CEO of Hanover Property, the investment arm of Marcus & Millichap, developing joint venture equity transactions. While at Citicorp from 1985 to 1998, she rose to become V.P.-Area Director for Citicorp Real Estate where she led the bank’s West Coast portfolio growth from $800 million to $2 billion including financing for such landmark projects as the Fillmore Center, 345 California, Rincon Center, Parc 55/Crowne Plaza Hotel and San Francisco Center.
A graduate of San Francisco State University with a B.S. in Business Administration-Finance, she also held previous positions in real estate finance at First Nationwide, Crocker Bank and Homestead Savings.
Chris Barrere joined Pacific National Bank in September 2004 as the Executive Vice President of Retail Banking.
Mr. Barrere started his career in banking with Crocker National Bank in Los Angeles as a management trainee. He then moved to Cal Fed Bank where he served in several Retail Banking positions including Senior Vice President of the Northern California Market and Private Banking. Prior to joining Pacific National Bank, Mr. Barrere worked for U.S. Bank.
Born and raised in Bordeaux, France, Mr. Barrere graduated from UCLA in Math and Computer Sciences. Mr. Barrere also holds several NASD licenses and financial planning designations.
